The owner of a WV Golf GTI with a 2.0 TSI CCTA engine (200 hp, 280 Nm) contacted us. The car had been flashed to Stage 2 (270 hp) by another company. Due to serious errors in the flashing, the car performed worse than with the factory flashing. The customer’s car was flashed by a third-party company without logs or measurements. We rolled the car back to stock and confirmed there were no issues. We flashed the car to Stage 2. The car performed as expected, maintaining safety. Now the owner enjoys pleasant performance and trouble-free operation.
