Stage 1 — 200 hp, 420 Nm + EGR/DPF off
The owner of a VW Passat B6 with a 2.0 TDI BMR engine (170 hp, 350 Nm) contacted us. The car arrived after a Stage 1 engine remap with the eco system disabled and a DSG6 transmission remap by a third-party company. Due to serious errors in the remap, artifacts and jerking were observed while driving, and important errors were erased. The fuel flow meter connector can be removed, and the errors will no longer be present.
We rolled the car back to stock and confirmed there were no issues. We remapped the car to Stage 1, and also correctly disabled the EGR and DPF. We optimized the DSG6 transmission. The car now performs as expected, maintaining safety. Now the owner enjoys pleasant performance and has no problems during operation. Over time, the owner also noted improved fuel consumption compared to the faulty remap.
