The owner of a VW Golf 7 with a 2.0 TDI CRVA 110 hp engine contacted us. The car arrived already flashed by another company. The customer had doubts about the correctness of the flashing. After scanning the logs with third-party software, we saw that all temperature limits were disabled in the flashing, including exhaust gas temperature, and even the throttle valve was disabled. We rolled the engine back to stock, flashed the Stage 1 180 hp flashing, and correctly disabled the EGR while maintaining all engine safety systems. The car drove with the predictable linear dynamics.
