Stage 1 — 180 hp, 380 Nm. + EGR off
The owner of a Skoda Yeti with a 2.0 TDI CFHC engine producing 140 hp and 320 Nm contacted us. The car arrived after the eco system had been disabled and the Stage 1 firmware upgrade had been installed at another company. After scanning the logs, we noticed that the boost control was disabled (regardless of whether the turbo is overboosted or underboosted, you won’t get an error, and the engine control unit won’t be able to properly respond if problems arise), and the EGT (exhaust gas temperature) protection was disabled. We rolled the car back to stock mode and confirmed there were no issues. We upgraded the car to Stage 1 and correctly disabled the eco system. The car performed as expected, maintaining safety.
Acceleration measurements with and without rollout (the Dragy 402m measures with rollout by default):
Full tank, 2 people in the car.
Stage 1:
0-100 km/h in 8.32 sec.
402 m — 15.73 sec.
